Boulder Ridge Villas at Disney's Wilderness Lodge is a family hotel on the shores of Bay Lake, in the Magic Kingdom resort area, in Lake Buena Vista. This rustic-style property, inspired by 1860s vintage railway-style hotels in the Old West, is surrounded by trails with vegetation and has two Jacuzzis and two pools, one of them heated and surrounded by pine trees, rocks, and a slide, and another one with beach-entry. The property has a children’s club and pool and offers Disney film projections in different areas, fire pits for roasting marshmallows, rental of bikes and motorized boats, and fishing tours.
Dining options include a restaurant specialized in fine cuts and wines, a Wild West themed buffet, a bar with a barbecue facing the lake, a restaurant with fast food, and a cabin-type bar that serves craft beer and regional wines. The hotel offers free water and ground transportation within the resort (restrictions apply).
The 181 studios and villas are decorated in rustic style. Studios are equipped with air conditioning, a porch or balcony, a small kitchen with mini-refrigerator and microwave, sitting area, and free WiFi. Villas have one or two bedrooms, equipped kitchen with stove, dishwasher, and refrigerator; bathroom with whirlpool tub; and an area with washing machine and dryer.
The property is only 3 kilometers (1.9 mi) from Magic Kingdom®, 8 kilometers (5 mi) from the theater where La Nouba by Cirque du Soleil is presented, 9 kilometers (5.6 mi) from Epcot®, and 10 kilometers (6.2 mi) from Disney’s Hollywood Studios®. Orlando International Airport (MCO) is 36 kilometers (22.4 mi) away.
