Disney's All-Star Music Resort is a family hotel that pays homage to some of the world's most popular music genres, including country, jazz, rock’n roll, calypso, and Broadway-style show melodies. The resort features two outdoor pools, one of them heated with a guitar shape and the other with the shape of a grand piano with a platform with white and black keys, as well as a children’s pool. There is also a restaurant with casual American cuisine, a bar in the guitar-shaped pool, and room service with classic dishes such as fresh-baked pizza or chicken tenders from the rest of the Disney sister resorts.
Some activities and recreational areas at this music-themed hotel include outdoor Disney movie nights, a children’s playground, a video game room, and jogging tracks throughout the Walt Disney World Resort. Accommodations are equipped with in-room safe, mini-refrigerator, iron and board, telephone, and hairdryer. Family suites have a kitchenette with microwave and two bathrooms.
The hotel is located at Disney’s Animal Kingdom resort area, 2 kilometers (1.2 mi) from Disney’s Blizzard Beach water park, 4.5 kilometers (2.7 mi) from Disney's Hollywood Studios, and 5 kilometers (3 mi) from ESPN Wide World of Sports Complex. Orlando International Airport (MCO) is 37 kilometers (22 mi) away.
